I will be one of the first to admit that the Valley is a beautiful place to live in the Fall! The colors are amazing and there are so many peaks you can drive to and see some amazing Fall views. I always have a hard time with Fall though. To me it is the beginning of the path to Winter and the time can’t pass by fast enough for me to get to Spring.
I have managed each year to find lots of great crafts and places to go to enjoy Fall. This week we started that fun with a trip to Hennigars. It is a great place to bring children, with a mix of feeding animals, riding trikes and playing on a boat in a sandbox. They also have treats inside their store, as well as all sorts of produce, baked goods, plants & decor.
We also started our fall crafts. I am blessed that I get to spend part of my Sunday mornings teaching Sunday School and the apple tree craft came from both one of the women I volunteer with and a website I use for Sunday craft ideas. The popcorn craft is one I have used for a few years. The kids love gluing the popcorn on and having a little snack with the leftover afterwards!
I’m thankful that the Valley has so much to offer in the Fall and I keep hoping that we continue to have a warm Fall! In a little over a week the Pumpkin People will be set up and it is a Lego theme this year! The kids are so excited to see them! Makes for a great start to October!
