September is such a busy month for us! We have 3 children with September birthdays! Each of them gets to pick the party of their choice and we usually try and celebrate all weekend doing things that they would enjoy doing. I love birthdays and I love celebrating with my children.
Last weekend was Noah’s birthday weekend. He had a Skylander’s Party with some of his friends at the Louis Millet. He also enjoyed some fun time at Racer’s Rec and a visit to Ross Farm. Noah was also lucky enough to celebrate his friend Ethan’s birthday as well. They have celebrated all of their birthdays together and I love that they are still friends!
This weekend is Alex’s 16th birthday! It is so hard for me to believe some days how quick the years have passed! Alex spent some of the weekend celebrating her best friend Larissa’s birthday. When she came home today we went to see Hotel Transylvania 2. A few years back she had a movie birthday and that was the movie they went to see, so it was awesome that the next one opened on her birthday weekend again. Tomorrow she has her actual party at Racer’s Rec Room! Mike & Gill just opened Racer’s Rec last weekend, so it worked out perfectly for Alex! She is excited to celebrate tomorrow and very fitting that it is a “car” birthday for her 16th lol!
We also celebrated my Dad’s birthday today. His real birthday was yesterday, but we had supper & cake today to celebrate! I love that we get so much family time in September!
Next weekend we celebrate Caile’s birthday. She decided a while back she wanted a pool party, so we will head to the fire hall first to enjoy some treats and fun, then head over to the pool for a swim. We are also taking in the Robert Munsch play at Centrestage during her birthday weekend! Caile loves theatre, so it was a perfect fit for her weekend!
I think it is so important for everyone to feel special on their day. I try my best with my kids. They get to pick their fav meals all day and we try to do all of the fun things they enjoy! It is always a busy month, but a great one!
