The end of our stretch of many parties is beginning to slow down and this was the last weekend that we had 2 parties back to back. Caile had a great party yesterday! She choose the firehall for the party room and the pool that was directly across the street! This is such an inexpensive party and all the kids have so much fun! Most kids love pool time and our children swim so much in the summer that they find the switch to fall hard! They were all excited for the pool!
Today we headed to the city for Kirsten’s party. It was at the Atlantic Cirque in Dartmouth. I have heard of it before, but I have never been and really wasn’t sure of what to expect. The girls had the best time! Their instructors take them through lots of cirque fun and they get to use so much of the equipment! Ella is already begging for her party there!
While the girls were at the party I decided to leave for a bit, come back and watch for a bit to see it for myself and then leave again with Noah & Alex. Both of them had birthday money and gift cards they were eager to spend. Noah had been asking to go to the big toy store in the city that his friend had told him about. I used to shop at Toys R Us all the time but it was mainly when certain things the kids were into were harder to find, or when we were in the city more often. I didn’t realized it had been years since Noah had been there. He had no memory of the store and his expressions the whole time we were there was priceless!
After getting the girls we decided we would stop for supper on the way home with their cousins. The kids get very excited to eat out because it is something we do very rarely. We are always in saving mode for our vacations and little trips away and feeding 6 people at a restaurant adds up quickly! I can never justify doing it! Tonight it was just the kids and I and they had some great deals on at Burger King, so we were all fed for $21, which of course made me very happy! The kids loved the play area and of course I bet you can’t guess which of the kids spent just about the most time in there? LOL!
It was a great weekend overall. Fall is always such a busy time of year, with so much going on in the Valley! Hoping we get some great weather to enjoy it all!
