If you have a larger family you completely understand how quickly events out can add up. Most places only allow deals based on a family of 4 and the extra children can add up quickly! Corn Mazes have been such a huge hit in the Valley over the last 10 years. There was a time when the cost to get in was relatively inexpensive, but as the farms add to their property, the cost rose with that as well. Most of the corn mazes cost our family between $70-80, It is definitely an outing that my children love, but it is so hard to justify the cost!
Noggins will let you play on their property and equipment free during the week as long as you are not entering the maze and there are deals on the maze early in the week. Most other places charge for the maze fun whether you plan to go through the maze or not. A few years back we discovered Evan’s Family Farm & Corn Maze. It was a simple farm with some play equipment for the kids and a great maze to go through. The cost has always been $20 per family with additional children being $6 each. Definitely more reasonable for our family! Our children had a great day when we took them and we had it in mind to return another year!
We decided to make a big event of it this year and invite a group of families to join us in the fun! We all headed down for a picnic lunch and it worked out perfectly that it was Nate’s birthday so we had cupcakes as well. They have lots of playground type equipment, sand boxes filled with corn, smaller mazes, small trucks for the kids to drive and a pumpkin express that they get to go for a ride in!
The sun was hot and the day warmed up. All of the families had a great time and the kids love being together! Events like this are always lots more fun with your family and friends! I am always so thankful that so many are able to join us on these fun days! Looking forward to many more of these days to help me get through the winter! 😉
