It is hard to believe that you have officially entered adulthood. These years have passed by so quickly it seems and since your favorite number is 19, I know you have been looking forward to this birthday for a long time.
So many things about you make me proud. Alex you have more talent than you will ever know what to do with. It always astonishes me how quickly you can pick up the interests you have. I think about guitar and can’t believe how quickly you have learned in such a short amount of time. You can sketch and paint anything. I love your creative eye with both of these as well as photography. You are so crafty and can create anything you dream. I hope you will always use these gifts, because they really are gifts and you are so lucky to have them.
You have a big heart and love animals so much that I fear you will one day adopt the entire SPCA in one visit without even the room to keep them. I love how you light up around horses. You are a great rider and one day will make an awesome teacher both with horse and teaching children to ride.
I love your excitement for life and trying new things. You have such a silly sense of humor and although most of the time I don’t get it, I love when you are laughing!
You are our child that has the ability to make me laugh, cry, scream and smile all in the same 5 minutes. You know how to push the right buttons sometimes and always have, but I know you do love us. Being a Step Mom for anyone is difficult, but I am thankful that we choose to love each other and have built an incredible love, friendship and bond that I hope will carry us many more years to come. We have been through a lot, but you know I will always be here for you and that will never change. I pray you will follow the good that I know is inside of you and that you will work hard to do great things this year!
