Some days it is still a little strange to wrap my head around being a Nana while I am still very much a Mom to school aged kids. But regardless of the ages of our children or when they have children of their own, I will always be a Mom. I always wished to be a young Nana. I have too much energy most days lol and I have always loved taking my kids over the years to so many events, outings, etc. I am excited that as my children outgrow some of these outings, Ezra will be growing into them and with that comes new family memories.
The other 3 kiddos love being an Uncle & Aunts. They are very much looking forward to outings to the zoo, park, kids events, etc with Ezra. Our wonderful group of families that we are so blessed to have has a few younger children and within it so many older children that love taking the younger ones by the hand and playing, leading them, etc. Ezra will be surrounded by so many great friends & family.

My job is amazing and I am so thankful that I have been able to have most of the month of November off with Alex & Ezra. Alex has been a sponge. She wants to learn anything and everything, being the best for Ezra that she can be. She listens to anyones past stories or tips they can offer as she navigates motherhood. I am so proud of her. She has matured so much over the past year and her love for Ezra just radiates.
Ezra is growing steady. He was born weighing 6 lbs 11 ounces and after dropping some initial weight, he is up to 7 lbs 10 ounces. I am guessing by his 1 month checkup this week he will be past 8 lbs.
I am excited to have them both here over the Christmas season. Ezra loves lights as I think most babies do. We have our first tree up now and excited for our second tree next weekend. I can already picture how mesmerized he will be with a tree in each of our main living rooms. We were fortunate to be able to purchase a home that they can both settle into in the New Year with their good friend. I am thankful they will be close and we will get to see them lots.
Alex has been so lucky with how great Ezra is. He is well tempered, sleeps really well and is so well natured. She is into a great routine with him and I feel grateful I have been able to help and be apart of their growth. This little boy will have so much support and love in his life and I can’t be more thankful for that.
