A year ago we made the decision to keep our kids home, with the exception of Caile attending one in person class to keep her French Immersion. I never once regretted that decision. No one knows how to navigate a pandemic, so we made the best choices for our family. There were challenges, but overall these past 18 months have brought us closer as a family and we made some incredible memories.
The challenge with having that much time together is parting ways each day now that school is beginning. We are all a bit nervous as to what this year will bring. I hope NS remains strict, so that we don’t have the 4th wave like other provinces have. I pray that they will be safe and can enjoy returning to friends & this new, but old routine.
We’ve had another incredible summer. We spent lots of time with Family and Friends exploring more of NS. We had a few getaways, spent a lot of time by the water and tried some new things as well.
I only cried a little when they were all dropped off. I really do love and enjoy spending time with all my kids. I’m thankful, but my heart is heavy. I hope all of my days fly by, so I can pick them up and hear all their awesome stories. But until then, here’s a quick summary of our amazing summer. I love these kids, including the amazing tribe we are surrounded by! ❤️
