19 years ago, you were turning 3 and it was our very first birthday celebrating together. Some days it feels like yesterday and other days, many lifetimes ago. You had an excitement for life that was contagious. Big plans, big dreams and lots of stories.
Even in that first year, we had many ups and downs and I don’t think that’s ever changed. You will always give me the biggest surprises, good and bad.
Most of the time, you are still that same little girl I met with all of the big dreams. I have always appreciated that you dream big and I definitely supported it. You let parts of yourself get in your own way though. I hope one day that you will see all the potential you truly have and just go with it. I hope that you’ll stop fighting your intelligence, character, love for life personality and passion for so many things and just be someone you can love.
You are incredible in so many ways. Despite the rollercoaster that you’ve taken me on, you know how much you mean to me!
I hope this 22nd year is your best yet! Love you!
