Roughly 15 months ago, we were super lucky and scored a couple of codes to be able to attempt to buy Taylor Swift tickets. That luck increased when we actually made it through the queue in time to purchase 4 tickets. Fast forward to November 13th, 2025… Caile, Ella, Amanda and myself are headed to Toronto for a whirlwind trip to see the Eras Tour!
We flew from Halifax to Toronto and arrived at the Toronto city airport where we took an Uber to the Chelsea Hotel for our first night stay. The next morning we ventured to a local bakery to get some breakfast, then we checked out College Park with which was one of the many spots in the city decked out for Taylor Swift. We took a few pictures and then walked to the Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. There was a signed banner out front that read “SickKids love Taylor” that was stretched between two trees on the front lawn, with hundreds of bracelets attached to tree trunks. The idea was for fans to bring a bracelet and take a bracelet. This was very touching and we were glad to be able to take part in this exchange.

Back at the Chelsea Hotel the girls did their hair so they would be ready for that afternoon. We were going to be switching hotels and knew we would not have a lot of time at the next hotel before the line up began, so we were trying to get ahead. We then went to the Eaton Centre to check it out and buy a few gifts. It was fully decorated and our timing worked out perfectly for their Christmas Tree light show. The tree was amazing and the whole show ended in snow falling at the end. We loved it. We also got to have Chick Fil A for lunch since Toronto now has a few locations. 🙂
After lunch we went back to the Chelsea to pick up our bags. We also snapped a few pics with their TS displays. They had Taylor Swift music playing throughout the lobby as well. We then headed to our next hotel, Le Germaine. This hotel also had a full setup when we walked in as well as a large waiting room area where they had food for the guests, a backdrop, friendship making station and documentaries / her concert playing on multiple TVs. It was really impressive. Each floor had a different era sign as well. I was really impressed. We stuck around for a little bit to get refreshed and then hit the road again to explore closer to the Rogers Centre.

I was blown away by how Taylor Swift fans have this connection that allows everyone to easily chat with each other, exchange bracelets, talk about their fav songs, etc. While we were waiting for our room to be ready we met a Mother and daughter from NB. They had seen the show in Boston and were going again for Toronto N2. We chatted a bunch with them and she offered to take a polaroid of us. She asked us what songs we thought we might hear as the surprise songs. Caile mentioned Evermore, because of the mention of November and Ella mentioned she wants Peter. Interestingly enough, I am sure that Mom & daughter thought of us on their night as Taylor matched up those 2 songs during the piano portion. I just love how her music creates more memories than just your time at the concert.
For me, being there with the girls and watching their incredible excitement was energizing. I loved how they were making connections with people in line trading bracelets and once we were inside listening to them belt out the lyrics, gleaming was amazing. A memory I will hold dear forever. That concert was incredible. Not only is she a super talented song writer & singer, but an amazing performer as well. The whole show right down to every detail was so impressive.
I always thought the Red Era would be my fav and it was up there for me. All Too Well 10 min version is one of my ultimate fav songs. Hearing this song played live was so crazy amazing for me. I listened to a lot of these earlier albums with Alex when she was growing up and they just really connect with me. When we got to the Tortured Poets Era though… wow… this was definitely my fav Era. So well done! But I also have to mention that her surprise song section is incredible. Every night she sings 2 surprise songs (well now 4 since she mixes 2 for each of the songs). 1 is on guitar and 1 on piano. This is the acoustic portion of the concert and wow, she really displays her talent here. I was blown away here and could honestly listen to her sing acoustic for a whole concert. She just draws you in.
This concert started at 645pm with Gracie Abrams who plays for about 30 min or so. And then Taylor comes on around 7:45pm and plays for more than 3 hours! I still have no idea how she can sing, dance and perform for that long with such small breaks. Gracie was also amazing. I have really enjoyed her new album and hearing her in person was very surreal as well. SO much talent!
I really want to remember these days for the rest of my life. I have been to a few concerts, but nothing like this. Dressing up to an era, making bracelets to share with others, visiting so many Taylor Swift things around the city / hotels and making incredible memories has been a gift, one that I don’t take lightly. I have so much appreciation for this past week and very much look forward to another concert of hers some day again in the future. It’s hard to come down from this excitement, but so thankful for all of the pics and videos I took to remind me over and over again of that incredible feeling… “capture it, remember it”.
