It’s hard to believe that our youngest is getting close to his teenage years! Where does the time go? And why can’t it slow down?
This past year of course has been a different one. Noah’s passion is basketball. He loves to play and also loves to watch. The Raptors are his favorite team, but he has a few favorite players spread out across other teams. He didn’t get to finish his basketball season of course because of Covid, but thankfully all summer was able to participate in a small group that worked on some skills training. His shot is definitely “pro like” as Noah would say! He has big dreams of being a Raptors player some day.
Noah also is a gamer. He has a few video games he loves and is always interested in watching videos to learn how to better play them. Online games are his favorite so he can also spend time with friends.
This year he would have been entering Middle School, but so far has been learning from home. He’s definitely flourished with this. He’s in the best routine and is getting more work done than he did at school. He’s so positive about it as well. He misses friends, but loves being home with his family.
He’s my snuggle bug. Definitely tied for the biggest cuddler in our family with Ella. I hope he never outgrows that. His hugs are amazing! He’s an amazing uncle to Ezra and loves to show Ezra things as well as get baby snuggles!
This coming year will again be a different one. Noah will thankfully be able to practice basketball with his Spartan’s team since they are small and outside of the regular league, but he certainly won’t play games this year. He’s excited for when he can finally be back on the court.
I’m so proud of how he’s handled this bizarre Covid year. He’s understood why we can’t do what we could before and although he’s missed somethings he’s been super positive and amazing through it all.
Thank you for being my passionate, determined, fun loving boy! You will do amazing things in this life and I’m so blessed to be able to be your Mom!

Happy Birthday to Noah! Clearly he is thriving in the environment you are giving him. What a fortunate child, and it’s great to see him making the most of it — even in the harder times.
