What a year?! I am sure looking back to your last birthday, you would have never imagined that that would be the last time that we gather with multiple different people from different families in one place. I pulled off the ultimate surprise party last year, which of course was a huge accomplishment with you lol! You are one of the biggest detectives that I know.
Although much is different during your 14th year here on Earth, you made the best of every situation. We took some horrible circumstances and found ways to grow, make memories and create some awesome experiences. I love that you are always up for anything. No matter what it is we are doing, you want to take part. We had an incredible summer and explored so many new places. You have always loved being around people, even before you could walk. Your heart is huge and those within your tribe know and feel that you love fiercely. Your smile is contagious and always has been!

At the start of Covid, you decided to take on a new skill and learned how to crochet. You really took off with that and by the end of the summer you went from simple dish clothes to stuffed animals. You started earning money from this skill and before long, you wanted to invest in something new, so you bought yourself a Cricut and some starter items to create a little business for yourself.
Initially you worked with your cousins to create some Christmas gifts to sell and then branched out on your own. You are doing amazing, earning some good money and reinvesting it on items that will make you more money. You recently created your own Facebook page recently to promote your creations. I am so proud that you are always willing to learn something new. This has grown you in so many ways having to organize & track your sales, pick ups, communicate with customers, etc. These are skills many adults don’t have in life.

School has looked differently for you this year. I know you have missed your class and the people that you have seen almost daily for most of your life. But you have embraced homeschooling and pushed yourself to learn and grown. Your motivation and attitude always impress me. You have been pushing yourself to complete all the work early, so you get to enjoy an extra month of summer before returning next year. You are so selfless and as time passes I appreciate that quality about you so much.
You are often referred to as my mini me as you certainly have a lot of my personality traits. I am thankful for your maturity, thoughts on life and the way you weigh out value in situations before entering them. At the same time, you have such a fun personality. You have the ability to make people laugh easily and provide great entertainment for Ezra and Alice, who adore you tons! You are one of Ezra’s favorite people and I love watching the two of you together. Such an amazing bond, that I know will last you both a lifetime!

Your 15th year, will look much different than the last. I am beyond thankful to have been able to spend so much of your 14th year with you. Kids grow up too fast and I can’t appreciate enough having all of this time together. As you begin a new year, continue to be passionate about everything you do, try new things, push yourself, be strong in your Faith and always love fiercely.
