Some parents worry that someone will talk their child into something that isn’t really them. I really haven’t had to worry at all about that with you. You’ve always known your own mind. When you want something, you say so or if you don’t, no one will persuade you. I really admire that about you. You go the way you want, not the way someone else picks for you. Especially in high school, where there are so many pressures for sports, social events, etc, you go your own way and I love that about you.
You have so much endurance and determination. The effort that you put into your training… it’s wild to me. It makes me want to find that same drive. I’m so proud of you for it. It will take you far!
I love your sense of humor. You’re funny and you have a way of making us laugh even if we’re not wanting to in that moment. Heck, you can even find a way to make a flight attendant find it impossible to hold it together during a safety presentation. 😂
I love your desire to travel and adventure. I’m thankful that I was able to make some amazing memories with you this summer exploring places you really wanted to experience.
